Masters In Teaching No GRE Required

Teachers are among the most important individuals in the country. Earning a master’s in teaching or education allows you to assume more rewarding positions in the educational world. Many teaching programs offer specialized areas of study such as math, special education, and more. There are several excellent online programs as well as others that feature campus based education or even blended programs. And now that many schools no longer feature GRE scores as a requirement for admission into their teaching programs. The list below includes online and offline Masters in Teaching programs that don’t require GRE scores.

  1. Concordia University – Concordia offers numerous online maters in education programs that span across all major specialization areas. Students can focus on ESOL, Early Childhood, Adolescent Literacy, and many other areas of concentration. GRE scores can be waived when certain criteria are met and graduates hold a respected degree that will be accepted by employers around the nation.
  2. Arkansas State University – Arkansas State University offers students a number of totally online Master of Science in Education programs with several different specialties. The school also allows students to apply without submitting GRE scores.
  3. Liberty University OnlineLiberty University Online is a leading online educator and features a huge variety of Masters in Teaching degrees including Master of Arts and M.Ed. degrees. Numerous concentrations and specializations are available to choose from and enrolling students won’t be required to submit GRE scores for acceptance.
  4. Capella University – Capella is one of the most respected online universities in the country and it offers several MS degrees ranging from higher education leadership to curriculum and instruction and beyond. GRE requirements can be waived with the right GPA and professional experience levels.
  5. Walden University – Walden offers multiple Masters in Teaching degrees that allow future teachers to hone their skills in virtually any area of specialization that they choose. Programs are available entirely online and feature no GRE requirements.
  6. Columbia University – Located in New York City, this is the fifth ranked school of education in the country. While some of its education programs may feature GRE requirements, many of them do not and students can apply without submitting these scores.
  7. Johns Hopkins University – Johns Hopkins is located in Baltimore and is the sixth ranked education school in the nation. It offers multiple Masters in teaching degrees including Masters of Arts and Masters of Science degrees. The school does not require GRE scores for students to be admitted into the program, and some classes may be available online though attending traditional courses will likely be required as well.
